Task 1 Human Resources
Define Human resources.
It refers to the assigned area in an organization or business that deals with human interactions and litigates issues that may arise, for example disputes, sexual assault, harrasment, etc. They also deal with other activities like recruiting new employees, motivating others to do better and implementing programs that help the workers acquire new skills.
What is the role of human resources? Define in detail.
It is to help fellow coworkers litigate their issues and find a way to resolve them, whether this may be taking it to court, talking it over, transferring someone out of the company, etc. The role they play is very important since in order to make a business work the employees have to interact in a pacific manner.
What is Capital?
It refers to the assets we have in favor of the company and anything else that may help the organization earn a larger profit, for example, intellectual property, or skills the workers possess.
In your opinion, is human resources necessary? Explain.
Because sometimes people can be afraid to come forward when something happens in their area or work, like if they are being harassed by their boss or employer it may be hard to report that to others in the workplace - human resources gives an out so you can deal with these kind of situations without involving people you might see on a daily basis.
What are the main areas of Human resources?
Recruiting
Staff management
Litigation
Problem solving
Issuing lawsuits
Define Human resource management.
This term refers to the area of HR that has to take care of all the organizing that is needed to make the department work - like scheduling meetings, setting terms, defining strategies, etc.
What are the main responsibilities of a Human Resource Manager? Define
them in detail.
Litigating: making sure the workers find a resolution to whichever issue they are having.
Organizing: keeping track and completing all the activities that need to get done in the office.
Keeping the peace: stopping a problem before it escalates into something bigger that may need bigger interventions.
Recruiting: finding employees that fit the criteria that is needed to work in the areas they are trying to pursue.
Implementing programs: they need to keep bringing in new programs that help people develop their skills.
Which of the responsibilities you mentioned in the previous questions do you
think is the most challenging or a HRM? Why?
I think keeping the peace and litigating can be pretty hard because you require a lot of natural and acquired skills in order to understand what your workers are trying to say while keeping a cool environment.
What are the most important skills of a Human Resource Manager?
I think that knowing how to read people and handling social situations no matter the context is what we need to look out for whenever we need to assign a new manager.
I like how you defined each concept. I didn't think about the importance of HR and the employees personal situation when I was doing my activity and how sometimes they can become afraid when it comes to talk about personal issues. I also like the approach you chose for you research. Thanks for the information!
