  • Why do you think accounting is seen as boring? Explain.

    • I think accounting involves a lot of technical terms as well as research and though I do not think of it as boring, I believe it can sometimes be tedious to combine all of the technical and practical terms in order to achieve clear results - it is a very lengthy activity to account for all the expenses a company makes.

  • Which of the jobs mentioned would be most interesting for you? Give your reasons.

    • Preparing annual financial statements would be interesting for me because I like working with final results and I think that looking at all the earnings and losses from the year can be beneficial if you are looking to create better strategies or budgets.

  • Why is it so important for accountants to be ethical? Explain in detail.

    • Because they are responsible for managing the earnings of a business - if they do not keep a clear view of what is being spent or earned they can be blamed for a business breaking, also not being clear in your final statements can cause serious legal repercussions, like time in prison or a fine.

    Preparing the annual financial statements is a really interesting job, it is about the information that the company has generated throughout the year and at the same time evaluate how well the accounting department has done its job, the decisions taken are reflected in the results, whether profit or loss.

    I agree with you, if the financial records of a company do not match or aren't accurate as an accountant you could be the one taking the fall so it's really important to have a moral code if we chose a career in this field.

    I agree with you, I think that the amount of terms usually is considered boring, the people who are dedicated to this really have the dedication and passion.

    The area you chose in accounting is interesting, it is also a very important area, since that can help determine the direction of the company. I chose tax advisor because they must know the tax law :)

    There is no work to prepare annual financial statements, financial statements are made every month, this by making decisions and guiding the company to positive results.
